India’s number one mobile service provider Bharti Airtel launched another innovative service “Background Music” for its customers. Subscribed customers can set their favourite song or tune as background music during call.
The Airtel database has over 2,000 songs under six categories such as Bollywood, Top 10, instrumental, regional, English and natural sounds.
How to activate the service:
1. Dial 676 from your Airtel mobile and follow the instruction. Call to 676 costs Rs 2 per minute.
2. Monthly subscription fee is Rs 25 and each song download cost is Rs 10.
3. You can set the song for all calls or any 5 specified callers.
Voice chat for Fixed line customers:
Airtel also launched voice chat to its fixed line customers across the country. Customers can activate this service by calling *694 to chat anonymously with Airtel mobile and landline customers. Monthly rental for this service is Rs 30 and a charge is Rs 3 per minute.
