Tata Docomo became the first private telecom company in India to start 3G services. It launched 3G services in 9 telecom circles where it got licenses to provide 3G services. Existing Tata Docomo subscribers in 9 circles (Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, UP (West), Punjab, Haryana and Maharastra) can automatically access 3G services from Deepavali day (November 5). But, new subscribers should buy 3G enabled SIMs to get service. Tata Docomo does not have 3G licenses for other top circles like Mumbai, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh & Tamil Nadu where 3G penetration is expected to be very high. 3G will help to improve call quality along with increase in internet access speed. Tata Indicom offer: STD calls at 30 aise per minute
Tata Indicom announced another bumper offer for CDMA per-paid users who frequently make STD calls. They announced “ULTA PLAN” to make cheap STD calls. This plans helps subscribers who make frequent STD calls than local calls. How to activate ULTA plan? SMS “GET ULTA” to 12524. ULTA Plan: 1. Only for pre-paid subscribers (New and existing) 2. STD call cost: 30 paise per minute but local calls cost 50 paise per minute 3. Recharge vouchers: ` 58 (32.58 talk time) and ` 104 (74.29 talk time) with lifetime validity. 4. Limit: 30 paise per minute for first 600 minutes of usage per month. After that, cost will be 50 paise per minute in that month. 5. This offer is applicable only for CDMA pre-paid users. 6.
