Airtel is offering free access to Facebook (social networking site) for 2 months (July 1 – August 31). Airtel will not charge any data charges for its mobile users.

Facebook is now available in English and Hindi languages. From July 15, site will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali and Punjabi.

So, Airtel mobile subscribers can now post their status updates for free by using mobile. This step will help in increasing Facebook popularity as Orkut is dominating Indian Social networking space.

Airtel has 13 crore subscribers and is the number one mobile service provider in India while Facebook is the top social networking site in the world.

How to activate:

Send SMS “FACEBOOK” to 54321.

Facebook mobile address: m.facebook.com

Enjoy unlimited Facebook access for 2 months.
