This performance is mainly attributed to rapid growth in China and India. India and China were added 74 million and 67 million new mobile subscribers respectively. Motorola rose to second spot with 105 market share while Nokia is far ahead of rivals with 77% market share. Sont Ericsson and Samsung dropped to third and fourth places with 5% and4% market share respectively. Motorola sales jumped from 70,000 a month to 1million a month. Indians are expected to purchase 64 million handsets this year. 49% of Indian Mobile users use yahoo as their primary website, whereas 46% download games.
