  Mobile service provider, Tata Docomo launched a very good service to help people who require blood especially in emergency situations. But, this facility is for Tata Docomo subscribers (both post-paid & pre-paid) only.  How to join blood helpline service?  • Step1: Send an SMS JOIN to 54321 (Tollfree)  • Step2: You will soon receive an SMS saying “You have been registered to the BLOODLINE club.  If you need blood:    1. Send an SMS NEED to 54321 (Charges: Rs. 3/SMS)  2. The system maps your Blood Group & Pin code and will send an SMS to all the matching donors.  Eg: O+ Blood Group required by 9811152345 in your pin code area 110008, please help your Bloodline member.  3. You will also soon receive an SMS saying “Your request has been forwarded to other Bloodline members matching your blood group requirement. You should receive help soon. Tata Docomo started 3G services

  Tata Docomo became the first private telecom company in India to start 3G services. It launched 3G services in 9 telecom circles where it got licenses to provide 3G services.  Existing Tata Docomo subscribers in 9 circles (Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, UP (West), Punjab, Haryana and Maharastra) can automatically access 3G services from Deepavali day (November 5). But, new subscribers should buy 3G enabled SIMs to get service. Tata Docomo does not have 3G licenses for other top circles like Mumbai, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh & Tamil Nadu where 3G penetration is expected to be very high.  3G will help to improve call quality along with increase in internet access speed. Operators can now provide host of services like video calling, interactive gaming and high speed downloads. NTT Docomo is famous for its 3G services in Japan.  So far, only BSNL and MTNL are providing 3G services in India.
